LUNA Fête is a visionary initiative by Arts New Orleans and the nation’s longest-running large-scale projection mapping festival. Launched in 2014, it brings together local, national, and international artists to transform New Orleans’ historic architecture and public spaces through light, art, and technology.

The festival returns November 13–15, 2026, with The Puppetry Parade. Rooted in New Orleans’ tradition of public procession, monumental light sculptures and handcrafted illuminated puppets bring stories to downtown streets.

As daylight fades, the city becomes the stage. Watch Gallier Hall come alive with large-scale projection mapping, then explore illuminated art, music, performances, interactive experiences, and holiday shopping.

Most festival programming is free and open to the public, with optional ticketed experiences. A suggested $10 donation will be accepted on site to support LUNA Fête.
